hand-knitted sweater

The inspiration for this project comes

from the dream vision of a magical and

quiet marine landscape. The sky is

translated into the body of the

sweater, knitted using an elaborate

fisherman’s ribs structure. The sea is represented by the sleeves,

which end up becoming the piece’s

focus thanks to the waving cables

stitch that is repeated throughout

their length. These two elements

finally meet and come together in the

shoulder seams, almost merging into

one single entity. The sweater is handmade with 100% extra-fine unshrinkable merino wool.
